Debbie Giles joined Freshford Preschool in February 2014 and brought with her lots of previous experience across the whole early years age range. Since joining our setting, Debbie has completed a BA (Hons) degree in Childhood and Youth Studies (2015) and qualified as an Early Years Teacher (2018).

Debbie holds a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification, a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and is the preschool’s Safeguarding and Health and Safety Lead. She works on all four days that the preschool is open.

Debbie has 3 children of her own.

Kerry Sherlock joined the preschool in January 2019. Previously, she worked as a Nursery Manager at a Pre-Prep and Nursery school.

Kerry holds a level 5 in Early Years Management, a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and a current paediatric first aid certificate. She works on all four days the preschool is open and brings many ideas to the setting, enhancing the areas of learning using a child centred approach.

Abi Jackson became a voluntary helper at the preschool in 2010, before joining our supply staff in 2015 and then our permanent team in 2016. She brings particular talents in art, craft and design to the preschool. Abi has completed a Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) Advanced (level 3) training course. She also holds a Paediatric First Aid certificate and is the setting’s SENCo. Abi works on all four days the preschool is open. She has three children of her own.

Abby Moore is our Business Manager and joined the team in summer 2022 having previously worked as a Business Manager for a large charity.

Abby has 2 children of her own.
